Introducing our U7/U8 'Junior Messi' Program:
Champions United is excited to launch its 'Junior Messi' Program this Spring.
This program is facilitated through SAM Soccer Recreation Program.
Players whose birthday falls between August 2005 to July 2007 are welcome to sign up for this program.
There are two steps to sign up for this program:
1. Register with SAM Soccer Recreational Program and enter 'Kendol Decker' in the coach request column no later than February 15th for the upcoming spring season.http://www.samsoccer.org/Recreation/index_E.html
2. Email us at info@championsunitedsoccer.com to request a Champions United sign-up form.
These players will practice once weekly on either Fridays or Mondays around Rockville/Potomac area.

U11 BOYS LIBERTY DIVISION FINALIST - 2013 BETHESDA THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to our U11 FC team for reaching the final in the BSC Thanksgiving tournament against FC Frederick. The game was tied at 1-1 after extra time and we lost 5-4 in penalty kicks. Both teams played very well but we came closest to winning the game a couple of times. Unfortunately; we didn't have the luck that's needed in close games to seal the victory. We are very proud of the development of these group of players and we look forward to greater achievements from them in the future. Go Champions!
FALL 2013 SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
Congratulations to Champions United Classic 03, Champions United Travilah, Champions United FC, and Champions United Classic 02 for winning the Fall 2013 MSI Classic Sportsmanship Award in their respective divisions. All our teams won the sportsmanship award, thanks to the players, coaches, and parents for demonstrating great sportsmanship during the games.

U10 BOYS DIVISION BLUE FINALIST - 2013 COLUMBIA FALL CLASSIC
Congratulations to our U10 Select team for reaching the final in the Columbia Fall Classic tournament. We lost 3-1 to ESSA Estudiantes in the final. We won by 7-0, 7-1, and 2-0 leading up to the final.
U11 BOYS DIVISION GREEN CHAMPION - FALL 2013 MSI CLASSIC LEAGUE
Congratulations to Champions United FC 02 for winning the MSI Classic league. We won seven out of eight games and out scored our opponents by 40 - 8 goals.

U11 BOYS DIVISION YELLOW CHAMPIONS - 2013 OBGC CAPITAL CUP
Congratulations to Champions United FC 02 for winning the OBGC Capital Cup. It was a very close game against YMS Shamrock Rovers that ended 1-0. We won by 9-1, 6-0, and 4-2 on our way to the final.
FINALIST U10 BRONZE DIVISION - 2013 COLUMBIA INVITATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT
A 'BIG CONGRATULATIONS' to our players for putting on a superb performance throughout the tournament including the final where we lost by a narrow 3-2 defeat. We won by 2-1, 3-1, and 8-3 leading up to the finals.
Fall 2013 MSI Classic Tryouts Registration for U10 BOYS, U10 GIRLS, AND U11 BOYS are now open.
Tryout Venue: Maryvale Elementary School(located in Rockville).

U10 GIRLS: Tuesday, May 28th from 4:30-5:30pm, Wednesday, May 29th from 5:30-6:30pm, Friday, May 31st from 6-7pm, and Monday, June 3rd from 5:30-6:30pm.
U10 BOYS: Tuesday, May 28th from 5:30-6:30pm, Wednesday, May 29th from 6:30-7:30pm, Thursday, May 30th from 5-6pm, and Monday, June 3rd from 6:30-7:30pm.
U11 BOYS: Tryouts for our U11 Boys program are ongoing and are held during our practice sessions on Tuesdays, from 5:30-7pm and Thursdays, from 6-7:30pm at Maryvale ES.

Are you nervous about the tryout process? No need to worry about whether we will offer your child a spot. At Champions United, we don't recruit players, we develop them. If your child passed the skills evaluation and show us that he/she enjoys playing soccer, we will definitely offer him/her a spot. However; please note that our U11 openings are very limited. We are looking for four to five new U11 players to complement our players who have improved rapidly over the past six to ten months.
REC TEAM MOVING TO CLASSIC? We will automatically enroll all your players that passed the skills evaluation in our program and we will also consider holding practices at your neighborhood and keep your team name depending on other factors.
